The Mississippi Minority Business Enterprise Center is sponsored by the Department of Commerce's Minority Business Development Authority (MBDA). We are further supported by the Arkansas-Mississippi Minority Business Council (AMMBC) and the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA).

The mission of the Mississippi Minority Business Enterprise Center (MSMBEC) is to increase the opportunity for ethnic minorities to participate in the free enterprise system through the formation, development, preservation and growth of competitive minority-owned businesses in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Region. We are focused on ensuring fair and equitable participation of minority-owned businesses in the Gulf Recovery efforts, as well as the vast array of other contract opportunities available through the private and public sectors in the state of Mississippi.
